As of September 20-26, here is the information:
WEEKLY VERSE: Mark 10:27 (NKJV); But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
Jesus talked to his followers about how hard it is for rich people to be saved. People who focus too much on getting rich often don’t appreciate Jesus and his kindness. He also spoke about how great it is for those who have little but choose to follow Jesus. A true test of faith is when someone has to choose Jesus over their loved ones. Even when they gain from following Jesus, they should be ready to face challenges until they reach heaven. We should learn to be happy with what we have and be careful not to love money too much. We should pray for the strength to give up everything if needed for Jesus and to use what we have to serve him.
